Hello, I am Amy, a lifelong friend of Kristin Peiffley as well as a coworker.

Since late December 2025, Kristin has been facing an incredibly difficult and unexpected medical journey. What began as a leg issue has led to four surgeries, ongoing complications with healing, and repeated infections. She is scheduled to undergo another surgery this Monday (4/27/2026) as part of her continued treatment and recovery.

During a recent hospitalization, doctors discovered an underlying cause for these complications — Kristin was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). This diagnosis has added another layer to an already challenging situation, requiring long-term treatment while she continues to recover from her surgeries.

Kristin is someone who has always worked hard and supported herself and her kids. At this time, however, she is facing mounting medical bills, time away from work, and the ongoing costs that come with both recovery and long-term care.

We are starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden so she can focus on what matters most — healing.
