Our beautiful daughter Kirby, wife to Josh, and devoted mother to Jax, Pyper and little Elise, has been facing the fight of her life since suffering seizures in 2025.

Following extensive testing, doctors discovered two lesions in the left temporal lobe of her brain. Surgery soon followed, and Kirby was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain cancer.

From the moment of her diagnosis, life changed instantly for Kirby and her family.

Josh has been by her side every step of the way and has been unable to return to work, taking on the role of full-time carer while supporting Kirby through treatment and caring for their three young children. What was once a normal family life has become a daily balancing act of medical appointments, treatments, scans, school runs and navigating an uncertain future.

Despite the challenges, Kirby continues to show incredible strength, courage and determination. Her resilience has inspired everyone around her.

We are forever grateful to the many family members, friends, local businesses and complete strangers who have rallied around Kirby, Josh and the kids. Thanks to your generosity, their home was able to be completed and made comfortable for Kirby during this incredibly difficult time. The kindness shown by our community has been nothing short of extraordinary.

While treatment continues and the family takes things one day at a time, the reality is that the financial and emotional pressures remain significant. With Josh acting as Kirby’s full-time carer and no certainty about what the future holds, ongoing support helps ease some of the burden and allows the family to focus on what matters most — time together.

Kirby has always been the person who lights up a room with her kindness, positivity and caring nature. She has spent her life supporting others, and now it is our turn to support her.
