Hi friends and family,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but here we are. My wife Kim has been facing a battle no one ever asks for—a long, exhausting fight against cancer. She has endured surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and unexpected complications that have required urgent medical care. Watching someone you love go through this is heartbreaking in ways words don’t fully capture.

Kim is one of the strongest people I know. Even on the hardest days, she finds ways to show kindness, humor, and compassion for others—often while quietly pushing through pain and fear of her own. I am endlessly proud of her.

During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to talk with the people Kim has worked with over the years, as well as many of her friends. Every single conversation has echoed the same sentiment: that Kim is a truly wonderful person who made people feel seen, valued, and special. Hearing the impact she’s had on others has been incredibly moving and has reminded me just how lucky I am to walk through life with her.

As you can imagine, this journey has taken a significant financial toll. Medical bills, treatment-related travel, and time away from work have created stress on top of an already overwhelming situation. This GoFundMe is our way of asking for help so that we can focus less on surviving financially and more on surviving this fight together.
