Hi, everyone! My name is Asia. I am 1 of 2 daughters of Kevin Calbert. As a lot of you know, there was a recent incident at a local kennel that led to serious injury of 3 individuals, including our father. Kevin heard the commotion of 2 very young, sweet girls being mauled by dogs but instead of completely ignoring this, he went to intervene. His courageous and selfless intervention kept a horrible situation from being way worse. He was truly in the right place at the right time!! The incident led to injury to his arm, which will need continued monitoring to assess the extent of the injury. For those of you that do not know him, he is very busy. He’s employed at Ford Motor Company, he has his own lawn care service, and he’s a very active parent and grandparent. He is not the type of man that will gladly be off of work, even when he has no choice in the matter. We are not sure how long he will be off from work, or whether he will need physical therapy, or the extent of his injuries. We are asking for financial assistance to help him through this tough time. We thank GOD that he acted during this traumatic moment, and we want to make sure we take care of him the same way that he takes care of others. Anything that you can donate will be much appreciated.
