Hello, my name is Erica and I'm writing on behalf of my sister and best friend, Kelsey.

In January, what was supposed to be the best month long birthday celebration, Kelsey was given the upsetting news that she has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma with DCIS, stage 1 breast cancer.

Breast cancer isn’t a short or simple journey. It means ongoing treatment, emotional weight, and learning to live with a level of uncertainty that no one should have to face, especially at such a young age. Some days will be incredibly hard, while others will be filled with hope, gratitude, and determination.

Kelsey is a beautiful, caring soul and an amazing human being who has always put others before herself. The upcoming days, weeks, months will be incredibly difficult, but the love, prayers and support from family and friends means more than words can express. If you are able, any contribution given, no matter the amount, will go towards medical-related expenses which will allow Kelsey to focus her energy on treatment and recovery.
