We are setting up this GoFundMe for Kelly Kazel Spillett. She's a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, etc. She has a pure love for animals and nature and may have the best green thumb I have ever seen.
She has two beautiful daughters, Cheyenne and Shelby, with her husband Kenny, who has watched Kelly battle cancer for 17 years.
Her daughter Cheyenne explains it best: For 17 years, my mom has been battling a horrible disease called endometrial stromal sarcoma, a rare and relentless cancer that has taken so much from her—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her strength continues to amaze me, but this long fight has taken a real toll. Recently, the cancer has grown significantly and is affecting her everyday life. Because of her current condition, my mom is unable to work and needs constant care. My dad and grandma have taken on the role of being full-time caregivers, doing everything they can to support her.
My mom is currently in the process of getting set up to start a new treatment, radiosurgery, which will be taking place in the city. She's unable to take the train at this time, which means lengthy drives back and forth into Manhattan.
To help lighten the financial strain and surround her with love, we have brought back new Team Kelly shirts. 20% of all sales will go directly to my mom. Every shirt purchased not only helps with medical and living expenses, but also shows my mom that she's not fighting alone.
We have also had many people asking to make direct donations to help with her financial burden.
