Hello my name is Janell Bernard, and I am organizing the go fund me on behalf of my cousin Ashleigh and Rodrigo Bravo and family.

Her son Kayden was born with a congenital heart defect called Truncus Arteriosus. Since birth he has faced more challenges than most of us can imagine including 3 open heart surgeries the first at 13 days old and the most recent on October 8th, 2025.

Kayden is facing a sudden and life-threatening medical crisis that began with pneumonia in December and has since then escalated.

Due to the severity of his condition, he required emergency transfer by Medi Vac to Edmonton for specialized cardiac care on News Years Eve and may require additional surgery to replace heart components installed just months ago.

This is a critical time for Kayden and his family as they await answers and determine next steps.

Funds raised will help cover expenses, travel, accommodations, and lost income while the family focuses on supporting Kayden through recovery and ongoing care.
