Hi! My name is Mary and one of my best friends in the whole world, Katie Golich, suffered a heart attack this weekend (March 15) and now has a blood clot in one of her heart chambers. She's a 35-year-old single mom of 2 who works hard at 2 jobs to provide for her kiddos. She is currently in the hospital undergoing treatment for the blood clot, as well as monitoring, and is expected to be there at least a few more days. Then she will have a long road to recovery. We are hopeful that we can ease the stress a little bit by helping her to cover medical expenses, bills, and all of the work she is missing and will continue to miss while she heals. Katie is an amazing and caring mom, daughter, sister, friend, employee, and member of the community and could use all the love, prayers, support, and donations possible.
