Some people walk into your life and quietly change it forever. Katie Gibbons is one of those people. If you’ve ever laughed a little harder, felt a little more loved, or danced a little more freely because of someone—then you understand the kind of person she is.

Katie brings light wherever she goes. She will make you laugh, sing, and yes—even dance. She has a rare gift for making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved. She gives endlessly of herself, always putting others first, never expecting anything in return.

At just 38 years old, Katie recently received devastating news—she has been diagnosed with stage 4 leiomyosarcoma (LMS), a rare and aggressive cancer. This unimaginable diagnosis has turned her world—and the lives of everyone who loves her—completely upside down.

But Katie is so much more than a diagnosis.

She and her husband, Andy, have built their lives around showing up for others. Andy—a proud Army veteran, a talented mechanic, and a singer who brings joy to so many through his performances on Broadway in Nashville—is one of the most loving and devoted men you will ever meet. Together, Katie and Andy embody what it means to love without limits, to give without hesitation, and to stand by others with unwavering support. They show up—every time—with pure hearts and no expectation of anything in return.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.

As Katie begins her fight, the financial burden ahead is overwhelming. Between mounting medical bills, travel for specialized treatments, and time away from work, the weight of it all is more than any family should have to carry alone.
