Help Our Brave Baby Kaden Fight Wilms Tumor

There are no words that truly prepare you to hear the sentence:

“Your baby has cancer.”

Our world stopped the day we learned our sweet baby, Kaden has Wilms tumor, a rare kidney cancer that affects young children. One moment we were planning playtime and milestones… and the next we were sitting in a hospital room, trying to understand how something so devastating could happen to someone so small and innocent.

After tests and scans, doctors discovered a tumor attached to his right kidney. He had to undergo surgery to remove his entire right kidney along with the tumor. Watching our little one go through such a major operation was something no parent is ever prepared for. Watching your baby be wheeled into surgery is something no parent can ever be prepared for. The fear. The helplessness. The prayers whispered through tears.

Although the surgery was successful, Kaden now faces chemotherapy treatments to make sure every remaining cancer cell is gone. Chemo is hard on such a small body, and he has already shown incredible strength through hospital stays, medications, and procedures. He is so small. So brave. So loved.

As parents, we would trade places with him in a heartbeat. Instead, we sit beside his hospital bed, hold his hand through treatments, and try to be strong even when we feel like we’re breaking inside.

We are doing everything we can to stay strong for him. Between hospital visits, time off work, medical bills, travel expenses, medications, and daily living costs, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

Our focus needs to be on our baby — on comforting him, supporting him, and helping him heal — but the bills do not stop.

We are humbly asking for help during the hardest season of our lives. Any donation — no matter how small — will go directly toward:

• Chemotherapy treatments

• Hospital follow-up appointments

• Medications and supportive care

• Travel and transportation to and from treatments

• Helping our family stay afloat while we focus on our baby’s recovery
