If you know Julie, you know she’s the heart of every room she walks into.
She’s my mom — and the most incredible grandmother to my kids. A hard-working business owner, a loyal friend, and the kind of person who shows up for everyone with love, support, and kindness.
She’s also one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. Life has thrown more at her than most could ever imagine, and somehow, she’s always managed to push through with grit, grace, and that signature Julie smile. Even now — in one of the hardest battles of her life — her heart is still with everyone else.
Julie has been extremely ill with sepsis for about a month now and has been hospitalized for over two weeks. Sepsis is a life-threatening condition that happens when the body’s response to an infection spirals out of control, leading to widespread inflammation, organ damage, and, if not treated quickly, can become fatal.
Her fight to regain her health isn’t over yet. And while she knows her priority has to be getting better, she still worries about her clients — not being there for them, not taking care of their beauty needs. That’s who she is. She loves what she does, but at the end of the day, health is everything — and money is just what we need to survive.
As a small business owner, time away from work means no income. Add in mounting medical bills, and the financial strain is overwhelming — too much for one person to carry alone.
My mom’s greatest wish is simple: to get healthy so she can be here for her two amazing sons and watch her beautiful grandchildren grow up. Now it’s our turn to lift her up the way she’s always lifted up everyone around her.
If you’re able, any donation will help lighten the load. And if you can’t give, your prayers, love, and support mean the world to our family.
Let’s rally around Julie and remind her that she has never been — and never will be — in this fight alone.
