Help Support Julie Dodson on Her Long Road to Recovery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to ask for support for my coworker and friend, Julie Dodson, who is going through an extremely difficult and unexpected medical crisis.

Julie recently underwent a major surgery, but instead of healing, she was hit with multiple serious infections afterward. What should have been a straightforward recovery has turned into months of complications, hospital visits, and setbacks that have taken a tremendous toll on her health, her stress, and her stability.

Because of these complications, Julie is currently on Leave Without Pay, leaving her without any income while she continues to fight through recovery. Despite everything she is facing physically and emotionally, she still has an entire life at home depending on her — her home, her truck, and her beloved animals: her horses, her dogs, and her cat, all of whom bring her comfort even in the toughest times.

On top of all her regular expenses, Julie is now struggling with:

Multiple medical bills

Ambulance bills from emergency transports

Costs for medications, wound care, and follow-up appointments

Feed, vet care, and supplies for her animals

Everyday home and utility expenses with no paycheck coming in

Julie is one of the hardest-working, kindest people I know, and she would never ask for help unless she truly needed it. Right now, she needs her community more than ever.
