My name is Tricia and I am one of the daughters of Judy. I am starting this Go Fund me as not everyone is aware my mom had found a hard spot in her hair line in March of 2024 she finally went in and seen the doctor. After that appointment it started a world wind of appointments. She went in for further testing. in April 2024 we got the diagnosis no-one wants to hear, your mom has stage 4 lung cancer. Her head spot was different and they were able to remove it within a few weeks. She started on traditional chemo on May 7th 2024. She gets new P.E.T. scans every 3-4 months. Her chemo was going really well and we started to notice changes for the best. They decided to change her chemo to one of the pill forms. Since then she has changed to 3 different chemo and is back on traditional chemo every 3 weeks. She had another P.E.T scan the end of January 2026 and we got the news no-one wants to hear, she now has a spot on her Brain, that wasn't there in November. We were told she would need to keep going on her Chemo but now we need to add radiation. She has her first radiation appointment today 2/2/26.
Through all the ups and downs she has tried to stay working. She loves to be busy and feel like she is doing something. There was times her boss had to send her home after chemo as they could tell she wasn't doing well but she wanted to be there. Now with this next step and everything still going on her work is even more limited. Her medical and daily bills are pilling up. She is struggling fincially and we just want to help her the best we can.
If you are able to please donate but even if you can't I ask that you lift my mom up in prayers. Cancer is a rollercoaster of many up and downs. Many battles you have to fight. If I know anything my mom is strong and brave. She may get scared but in reality after battling for almost two years I find her streghth to keep moving forward and fighting admirable. She truly is the strongest person I know. After being a single mom for many years and putting us girls first to now battling her own fight. I will never look up to someone more than her.
Thank you for helping or praying for her in her biggest time of need. It means a lot to our family.
