Hello! My name is Jorge Granados and I’m raising funds to help support and continue care for my mom. She’s been in and out of the hospital for 6 years now.

Unfortunately, she was admitted to the hospital again this past Friday as she continues to struggle with ongoing heart complications and kidney failure. Watching someone you love go through this again and again is incredibly difficult, and each hospital stay brings another wave of uncertainty for our family.

My mom has always been someone who puts her family first. She raised seven children as a single mother and worked incredibly hard to make sure we had what we needed, even when things were difficult. Now, as her health has continued to decline, our family is doing everything we can to be there for her the same way she has always been there for us.

Over the past six years, there have been countless hospital visits, appointments, difficult days, and moments of uncertainty. I have taken on a major role in helping care for her, and while I would do anything for my mom, the financial cost of continuing her care has become increasingly difficult to manage.

I’m creating this fundraiser to help with her ongoing care and the expenses that come with making sure she is comfortable, supported, and surrounded by the people who love her.

Asking for help is never easy for me, but right now, my priority is my mom. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean more to my family and me than I can put into words. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would also mean so much to us.

My mom spent so much of her life taking care of her children. Now, I just want to make sure we can take care of her.
