Hello, it’s Jordan! I have recently been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 19 years old. With an HbA1C of 17.2, I was admitted to the hospital with Diabetic Ketoacidosis without coma. It was a very unexpected and difficult change at first, but my family and I have been able to persevere and manage these new life changes.
