Hi everyone,

My name is Johnny, and this is not something I ever imagined I would be writing. Recently, I was diagnosed with a rare and abnormal Stage 3 cancer of the nasopharynx. Because of the complexity of this cancer, my medical team has determined that aggressive treatment is necessary, including both chemotherapy and radiation.

To ensure I receive the best possible care, I am traveling frequently to Atlanta to be treated at Emory, where a specialized team is equipped to handle this type of cancer. While I am incredibly grateful to have access to such expertise, the logistics of treatment have been challenging. The travel, lodging, time away from home, and increasing medical expenses have created financial strain on top of an already overwhelming situation.

Adding to this, on New Year’s Day, I was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital due to a serious complication with sepsis. This was a frightening setback and a reminder of how unpredictable and intense this journey can be.

Many people have reached out asking how they can help or support us during this time. This page was created as a simple way to share updates, keep everyone informed, and provide a place for those who wish to offer support, whether through kind words, prayers, sharing this page, or contributions if they feel led to do so.
