On July 10, our lives changed in an instant when John suffered a major stroke. Thanks to quick medical intervention and emergency brain surgery, he is with us today. He is making encouraging progress physically, but he now faces the long road of cognitive and speech rehabilitation.

Our home has always been open—to family, friends, neighbors, birthdays, holidays, barbecues, and anyone who simply needed a place to belong.
