My son is fighting Stage 4 cancer, and as a mother, watching him go through this battle has been the hardest journey of our lives. We are staying strong and focusing on his care, but the emotional and financial challenges have become overwhelming. We are asking for support to help with medical expenses and daily needs so we can focus on what matters most — giving him strength, love, and every chance to keep fighting. Any donation, share, or prayer means more than words can express.”
Here is a little bit of Jeremiah’s story.
Hello, my name is Jeremiah Jones. I am 19 years old, and my life changed drastically in October 2023 during my senior year of high school.
I went to the doctor after sudden, severe back pain, numbness and tingling in my legs, and difficulty walking. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer that originates in cartilage cells and can spread throughout the body. Mine began in my spine and has metastasized to my chest, jaw, and hip.
This diagnosis led to spinal surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and a long recovery process. After my first surgery, I lost movement in my legs and became paralyzed. I was given only a small chance of walking again, but through intensive Physical Therapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT), I am slowly learning to walk again using assistive devices.
Despite everything, I graduated from Heritage High School in June 2024 while actively battling cancer. I continued treatment through chemotherapy and radiation while completing school through hospital-homebound education.
In February 2025, my doctors informed me that due to relapse and new lesions, I will need lifelong chemotherapy. There are no standard treatment protocols or clinical trials for my specific cancer, so my care is being modeled after Ewing Sarcoma to slow progression and extend life.
My upcoming treatment includes ongoing chemo, radiation, possible surgeries, rehabilitation, and long-term medical and living expenses not fully covered by insurance.
I am asking for help so I can focus on fighting this disease without the overwhelming financial burden on my family. Any donation or share means more than words can express.
