Our family is raising funds to help cover legal expenses for our dear friend and our mom's partner, Jose de Jesús Ortiz Ibañez, who was recently detained by ICE.

Jesús is one of the hardest working and kindest people we know. He entered the United States legally on a work visa and has spent years working hard and building a life here. His detention has been incredibly difficult for our family, and we are doing everything we can to help him through the legal process.

The cost of legal representation has quickly become more than we can manage on our own. If you are able to contribute, any amount will go directly toward his legal fees. If you aren't able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean just as much.
