Update

After Jesse’s long and courageous fight against cancer, he has finally gone home to be with our Lord.

He fought until his very last breath, and we honored our wedding vows until the very end "in sickness and in health, until death do us part." Though our hearts are completely shattered, we find comfort knowing he is no longer in pain or suffering, only surrounded by peace and eternal rest, while watching over us.

Jesse’s greatest worry was always our family and the financial burden this journey would place on us. I always reassured him not to worry that it would be figured all out...

I want him, and all of you, to know that we were never alone. Our community stood beside us with love, prayers, and support, and now we humbly ask for continued help as we prepare to give him the beautiful laying to rest ceremony he deserves.

To everyone who has prayed, donated, shared, and supported us through this unimaginable time, thank you. Your kindness has carried us more than words can express.

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult and unexpected moment for our family.

Jesse is currently hospitalized at Kaweah, but due to the complexity and seriousness of his cancer, we have made the decision to personally transport him to UCSF so he can receive the specialized care, evaluations, and treatment his condition requires. This decision was not planned, but it is necessary to ensure Jesse has the best chance at continued care and progress.

This situation comes with urgent and overwhelming expenses, including travel, medical costs, lodging, food, time off work, and other unforeseen needs while we focus solely on his health and stability. Our priority right now is Jesse’s well-being making sure he gets the proper care he deserves in this fight against cancer.
