- Cristmas Eve 2025 Jerry was flown via Life Flight from Mclaren to U of M. He has been battling his medical issues since 2013. These include a complete aortic dissection, a stroke, and replacement of one of the valves in his heart. He has been unable to work since 2018. The stroke left him partially blind and without full movement in his leg. Once again, he is facing a challenge. Currently at U of M the doctors are trying to stabilize his condition for yet another aortic surgery. He has experienced significant damage to one of his kidneys, due to a blood clot , and has another aneurysm that has reach 6.5cm in size. Jerry and Susan have had to travel to Cleveland Clinic for previous surgeries . All of this has caused a strain on Jerry and Susan. We know from his doctors that it is likely more procedures will be required in the future. Our hope is that Jerry can overcome this hurdle and return home soon. Prayers are the best gift anyone can give. if you feel able to help provide some financial relief, it would be greatly appreciated. We are hoping for the best outcome possible.
