Hi everyone,

My name is Olivia, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my dear friend of 20 years, Jennifer Sansone. If you know Jenn, you know how special she is. Jenn is always there for her amazing family and friends, with so much thoughtfulness and care. She’s the kind of friend who shows up no matter what, ready to support and lift you up. Jenn is also an amazing mom to her 7-year-old daughter, Alice, who has shown incredible strength and bravery throughout this recent challenge.

A few months ago, after feeling sick and testing negative for the flu, Jenn drove herself to the ER. That decision ended up saving her life. Jenn was hospitalized with the extremely serious and rare infection necrotizing fasciitis, also known as flesh-eating bacteria.

Our brave and strong Jenn went through multiple surgeries and spent a long time in the hospital just fighting to survive and get better. She’s home now, and while that’s a huge relief, there’s still a long road to healing ahead.

Jenn still needs ongoing wound care, physical therapy, and regular medical follow-ups. She can’t return to work yet, and the medical bills, along with daily living expenses like childcare, are quickly piling up. As much as Jenn would never ask for help herself, she truly needs it right now...and that’s why I’m reaching out.
