My name is Jenn Biddle, I am a close family friend of Jenn. Myself and Jenn’s Sister, Melissa are trying to help offset some of the costs that Jenn and Tommy are going to start to endure with her procedures and treatments.

This is hard for me to post. This is Jennifer Skipper my wife and I have been dealing with. It is a life changing event. I know that she will get through this she is strong.

While at the Bluegrass Bash, my wife had some health issues. On Friday, June 29th, on the way back from the aquaculture tour, she was having left-side weakness. While helping her off the bus, I called 911. Richard, Curtis, and myself helped her to the lobby. When the fire company showed up, I went and got the paramedic. When we got to the lobby, my wife had a seizure. I was by her side to make sure nothing was going to happen. It was a very scary experience in my life, to be helpless and not be able to help my wife. The EMS crew did an awesome job taking care of her and getting her to the hospital.

At the ER, they did a CT scan. They found a mass. The neurologist came and talked to us and broke the news. He told us that she needed surgery. On Monday, she had brain surgery. They removed most of the mass safely. They sent it off for testing. On the way home Wednesday, we got a call, and it is cancer.

On Friday, July 3rd, there was a setback. I had to call an ambulance for my wife again. She was flown to Pittsburgh on July 4th. We found out she needs surgery to remove more of the tumor. She gets surgery on July 9th. We are back to square one again.

She will have to go through 3 weeks of aggressive chemo and radiation, then 6 months of treatment to keep the tumor at bay. Unfortunately, it is not curable. She will have to get scans to make sure it doesn't grow. If it grows back, she will have to go through treatments again.

The costs associated with travel and transportation expenses, food and hotels, loss of income plus their daily bills, are going to be a lot.

Jenn and Tommy have helped to server their communities as firefighters, EMT as well as fire police. Jenn is a full time Events planner at Lake Raystown and Tommy is employed by the state of Pennsylvania, they have been married for 12 years and have two school aged Children.

Jenn had her surgery yesterday and this is Tommy’s update.  Continued prayers for Jenn ❤️

Jennifer Skipper is out of surgery!!! I talk to the doctor. He did a craniotomy. He removed more of the skull to remove the tumor safely. There is no nerve damage. Also no fiber damage. He said he removed alot of the tumor. Know she needs rest. The surgery itself took 3hrs. She did really well in surgery. She will have left side weakness because of the swelling. The physical therapy team will work with her also. She will probably be in the ICU for a day. Then move to a regular room tomorrow. I want to Thank everyone for there support. It is really appreciated. Jen will kick this cancers ass!!!
