If you know Jen, you know one thing right away—she shows up for people.

She’s loyal to her core, the kind of person who will drop what she’s doing to be there when you need her. She loves her people, she loves her teams (especially the Packers & Notre Dame ☘️), and she’s always been someone others can count on.

Right now… she’s the one who needs support.

Jen is currently battling advanced liver disease related to type 2 diabetes. She’s been managing this behind the scenes for about three years, but the disease is progressing more quickly now.

One of the most difficult parts of this condition is something called hepatic encephalopathy—episodes caused by a buildup of toxins that her liver can no longer filter effectively.

When these episodes happen, they can come on quickly and require immediate medical care. Jen has been hospitalized five times because of this condition—twice already this year alone.

There is medication that helps keep these episodes under control—but it comes at a cost that is simply out of reach right now. Without it, the risk of more frequent and severe episodes increases significantly.

She has applied for a program that may provide this medication at no cost, and we are hopeful—but as we wait for approval, the need is immediate.

That’s why we’re asking for help.

Ongoing care and support as she navigates this condition
