I am starting this GoFund me page for my step dad Jeff Linder. As he was recently diagnosed with esophagus cancer.

A back story of the unfortunate events Jeff has had to deal with. Starting all the way back in 2020 Jeff was in a scaffolding accident that caused him severe spinal cord injuries, and after that was the 30 days in rehab to help him. July of 2025, he was in a lawnmower accident, which caused 6 shattered ribs, this landed him with 2 surgeries. After coming home from that he ended up back in Duluth from sepsis. And after coming home that time from the sepsis, Jeff slowly started not being able to swallow as he would usually be able too. After many doctors appointments and ER visits they were able to diognose it as esophagus cancer in November.

Things have started moving faster then expected. Jeff has not been able to work and my mom, Aimee Linder, has been trying to juggle 2 jobs as well as my 2 younger brothers at home (15 and 7). As many that know Jeff, he is never one to ask for help. But it will be very difficult for them to keep up with expenses with them being gone at the mayo and neither of them being able to work. They will be staying down by the mayo, and that will be another big financial struggle.
