On April 3rd, my 19-year-old son Jayden was critically injured in an accident that caused a traumatic brain injury and multiple facial fractures. He is currently in the ICU, in a coma, after undergoing emergency surgery to relieve pressure on his brain.
Right now, we are taking things hour by hour. We don’t yet know what his recovery will look like or what challenges lie ahead.
As his father, I am focused on being by his side and making sure he has everything he needs to fight through this. Jayden is strong, driven, and full of life — a dedicated student, athlete, and someone who brings people together everywhere he goes.
This fundraiser is to help support the responsibilities I am taking on during this time, including medical-related costs, rehabilitation, transportation, and time away from work as I stay with him.
Our family is united in supporting Jayden, and this is one part of that effort. This fundraiser is separate from, but in coordination with, other family-led efforts to support Jayden.
Any support — donations, shares, or prayers — truly means everything. Thank you for standing with my son.
