Hi All, We are starting this “Go Fund Me Account For Jason Drake”. Jason is 63 Years Old and has been with Clearway’s Avenal Project for many years.

We have found out that he is battling cancer. He is a single dad and has 2 teenage kids at home. He has a teenage daughter who is a sophomore in High School. His son, Jesse also works for Clearway Energy. Upon learning of Jason’s illness, we, as concerned friends wanted to help Jason and family out with a “Go Fund Me” account, to help them out with any unforeseen expense that they may incur during this difficult time of their lives.

Jason enjoys watching football and hunting. He enjoys cooking and barbecuing for family & friends. He loves taking care of his children and takes part in his daughter’s school functions, especially her softball. As you can see from the various pictures of him with his daughter’s baseball team, he is very involved in his daughter’s school sports.

In December Jason started having health issues, he was going to go get his chemotherapy for his cancer when he became severely dehydrated. He was hospitalized, and while in the hospital his blood pressure kept dropping, it was then that they found out that he had blood clots in his lung and his leg. The Dr’s had assumed that the blood clots in his lung came from his leg. The family is waiting to hear more updates on Jason’s chemotherapy, physical therapy and if his cancer is hopefully getting better. He is currently doing physical therapy at a location in Hanford, and he is staying at this facility.
