Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,
Our loved ones Jason and Mandy are facing an unexpected and overwhelming medical crisis. Jason has recently been diagnosed with a severe heart infection, including an infected abscess and a damaged valve that must be urgently replaced. His medical team has determined that the safest place for this complex surgery is Stanford, where he will soon undergo a major procedure to repair and protect his heart.
The recovery journey ahead is long and uncertain.
Jason will require 7–10 days in the hospital in California, followed by 6–8 weeks of home recovery before he can even begin thinking about returning to work. During this time, Mandy will be taking time away from her own job so she can stand by his side through surgery, hospitalization, and the initial stages of recovery at home.
As you can imagine, the financial strain is significant—travel back and forth from home, hotel stays near the hospital, food, gas, unexpected medical costs, and loss of income all add up quickly. This is where we are humbly asking for your support.
How You Can Help
Any contribution—large or small—will make a meaningful difference. We are gratefully accepting:
Gift cards (food, gas, groceries)
Hotel points to help cover lodging near Stanford
Airline miles for necessary travel
Cash donations to offset bills, lost wages, and day‑to‑day expenses during this difficult time
Your generosity will allow Jason and Mandy to focus on healing, hope, and being together—rather than worrying about finances.
If you are unable to give, sharing this page or keeping them in your thoughts and prayers is equally appreciated.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with them. Your kindness brings light to an incredibly challenging moment in their lives.
With gratitude,
The Family of Jason & Mandy
