Hi, my name is James, husband and father of 3 handsome, respectful teenage boys. Diagnosed unexpectedly with Metastatic Adenocarcinoma, which has spread to the brain, lung, and kidney. Medical bills have already taken their toll, and treatment moving forward is going to put a strain on day-to-day life, especially financially, because I will be out of work. Being the sole provider and now being out of work dealing with cancer is a new hurdle.
On March 8, 2026, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. The news came while I was in a different state, far from my home and family. Within hours, I went from the emergency room to the ICU, where I spent two weeks in Birmingham, Alabama. The diagnosis revealed cancerous tumors on my brain, kidney, and right lung. As a father of three and the sole provider for my family, this has turned our world upside down.
The financial impact has been immediate and overwhelming. My ICU stay and ongoing treatments, including radiation therapy and chemotherapy, have created a heavy burden. I am unable to work for at least the next six months, and my focus now must be on treatment and recovery. My greatest concern is making sure my family does not struggle as we face these mounting expenses.
Donations will go directly toward medical bills, co-pays, and living expenses. It would mean the world to me to receive any form of monetary donation. Life is going to get rough, and I want to lessen the bumps along the way for my family. Any support, advice, or words of encouragement are welcome as we navigate this difficult journey together.
