Support Jack Squires in His Fight Against Cancer
For nearly 26 years, Jack Squires has been a dedicated and hardworking employee at Kal Excavating. Jack and his wife, Donna, have been married for 56 years and have proudly called Northport home for the past 27 years. They are faithful members of the Northport Indian Mission United Methodist Church and are known throughout the community for their kindness, strength, and unwavering faith.
Over the last year, Jack has been courageously battling melanoma. He has undergone multiple surgeries in both Traverse City and Ann Arbor in hopes of stopping the cancer. Recently, Jack and Donna received difficult news that the cancer has spread into the lymph nodes in his chest. A recent biopsy has also been sent to California for further testing.
Jack is now preparing to begin an aggressive immunotherapy treatment that will hopefully slow the spread of the cancer and give him more precious time with his loved ones. As many can imagine, the financial burden of ongoing medical care has become overwhelming. Travel expenses, missed work, treatments, and mounting medical bills continue to add up.
Through it all, Jack and Donna have remained hopeful, faithful, and determined to face each day with strength and positivity.
We are asking for support to help ease some of the financial stress during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help with medical expenses, travel costs, and everyday needs while Jack focuses on his treatment and healing.
Most importantly, we ask for your prayers for Jack, Donna, their family, and the medical team caring for him.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and kindness.
