Hello everyone,

My name is Hope. As much as I hate making one of these and asking anyone to help, I am raising money to help my parents. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer in April of 2025. He was only able to work a short time. With my mother being on social security and only getting a minuscule amount, they are in need of some help. Believe me when I say we are not ones to ask for help; it’s usually the other way around. To be honest, this is very scary. They found lung cancer, and it was then told that it started in his liver and then migrated to his lung. After starting chemotherapy and enduring countless hours going back and forth to the doctors and sitting in that chair for his treatments, he moved onto immunotherapy. A few months later, they thought he had a stroke. It was then said it moved to his brain. He went through radiation, and while he completed that, he is still on immunotherapy. They redid scans, and it is now in his lymph nodes. Most of us know how hard it is either going through it themselves or seeing your loved one go through it. It’s scary, the unknown. My dad was the breadwinner. Now he’s not able to work and not bringing anything in. There is still a long road ahead for him. I am asking for anyone and everyone if they can not donate, can you please share. Just to help my parents ease the burden of this horrible disease. My brother is helping as much as he can, with me being across the country and doing the best I can to support my parents. They did not ask me to make this; I am making this begging for some help for them. I do not beg, but knowing my parents have nothing left to give and the amount of people they have helped throughout my years growing up, this is the least I can do. All funds will go directly to them. I touch none of it. On top of cancer, he is now diagnosed with COPD and is on insulin. Just adding more to him not being able to work, he was recently discharged from the hospital due to pneumonia, and they are thinking it was the immunotherapy that helped progress it. Again, I am making this to help my parents with their bills. Thank you all for reading, and I’m praying every day he is cancer-free and can continue with life. He not only has a wife and children, but he also has 4 grandchildren here on this earth that love and adore him.
