Hi everyone, my name is Pedro Cortes and this is something our family never imagined having to do. My mom Hilda has been bravely battling stage 4 LMS cancer since June 2025. She has always been the kind of person who gives without hesitation. My mom is loving, selfless, and always there for others no matter what. Anyone who has met her knows how much love and kindness she carries in her heart.

As a family, we’ve always been the type to handle things on our own, and asking for help is not easy for us. But during this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out because we truly need support. We are working toward getting her into a specialized cancer center where she can receive the best possible care and treatment to help her fight this battle.

The cost of treatment, travel, and ongoing care is overwhelming, with medical expenses alone reaching around $60,000. This is more than we can manage on our own, and we are asking for the support of friends, family, and anyone whose life she has touched.
