Hello, my name is Janika Moore and I’m creating this account on behalf of my father, Henry Moore, as most of you may know him as Bartender. Some may know and a lot don’t, but my dad is currently fighting non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which is a cancer that’s in his bloodstream, along with his previous diagnosis of kidney cancer.
For those of you who know him or know of him, he’s been driving log trucks since he was 20 years old, but due to his illness and the setback from his chemo treatments, he hasn’t been able to work or do the things that he normally does outside of being in his truck. He has been a hard worker all of his life, and the reality of him not being able to work and provide bothers him more than anything. I personally know that my father has been a helping hand to so many people, whether it was financially or working on and fixing vehicles or 18-wheelers. It’s him today and it could easily be us tomorrow, so in his time of need, I ask that any and everyone who can or is willing, with whatever the higher power puts on your heart, make a donation to help him stay above water until he’s able to return to work.
He currently has four rounds of chemo left to endure, and each dose has a different effect on him. To know that people showed up for him would really mean a lot to him. My personal goal is $2,500, but if it produces more, that’s even better and he won’t have to worry. Anything is a blessing and will be more than what he has.
