My grandma, Francisca Muñoz de San Jose de Los Reynosos, is the amazing woman in the picture; throughout her life, she showered my family with affection. Despite the fact that we lived in separate nations, Grandma was always there for us throughout significant events and difficult times. Through FaceTime and phone chats, we developed a relationship and learnt to treasure the times we spent together.

She has been in and out of the hospital for various medical conditions over the past year.

Sadly, in order to keep her as comfortable as possible, she now needs intensive medical care because her lungs are weakening.

Mi abuela es una mujer increíble que, a lo largo de su vida, ha llenado a nuestra familia de amor. A pesar de que vivíamos en diferentes países, ella siempre estuvo presente en los momentos importantes y en los tiempos difíciles. A través de llamadas por FaceTime y conversaciones por teléfono, logramos construir una relación muy especial y aprendimos a valorar cada momento que pasamos juntas.

Durante el último año, ha estado entrando y saliendo del hospital debido a varias condiciones médicas. Lamentablemente, sus pulmones se han debilitado y ahora necesita atención médica intensiva para mantenerla lo más cómoda posible.
