On behalf of Gian Gabriel Raquepo’s family, we are asking for your prayers and support as he navigates this difficult journey ahead after learning that he has an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) condition.
Gian is the eldest son of Larry and Joan Raquepo and the best big brother to his baby brother. He is currently in 7th grade and loves to play with and care for his baby brother.
It was a normal Tuesday morning when Larry received an unimaginable phone call from the school telling them that Gian was experiencing fatigue, he could not walk, and was sweating heavily. He was then taken to the local hospital and had a CT scan.
This is when they were told that Gian had an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). Within this short period of time, he had to go through emergency surgery due to bleeding in the brain before finally being flown to Cedar Sinai in Los Angeles, CA, where he is currently being monitored by dedicated doctors and nurses.
At the young age of 12 years, Gian is an active and obedient young boy who loves to help his parents and grandparents with chores at home and care for his baby brother, whom he once prayed for.
Gian has a long journey of recovery ahead and any amount of help is sincerely appreciated. All proceeds will go to his parents, Larry and Joan, to help with hospital bills and associated costs regarding his healing journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read Gian’s story, and we will update you as we receive more information about his condition.
