Standing with Galen Through His Stroke Recovery

Galen recently suffered a massive stroke which has left him unable to walk or speak at this time, and he is currently hospitalized at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. As a self-employed farmer, his work and income are closely tied to his ability to be physically present and active. This medical emergency has created both health and financial uncertainty while he focuses on recovery. His daughter, Sloane has been at the hospital daily to help with communication, care decisions, and support, which has required time away from work, travel to and from Minnesota, and staying near the hospital.
Funds raised will help cover:
• Ongoing medical bills and treatment not fully covered by insurance
• Rehabilitation and recovery-related expenses
• Temporary lodging near the hospital
• Travel and transportation costs
• Daily necessities and meals while caregiving
• Lost income and financial strain related to his inability to work during recovery
As we navigate the next steps in his recovery, having support in place helps relieve immediate financial stress and allows the family to focus on his healing, long-term care, and the future of his livelihood.
Any support — whether donating or sharing — truly means the world to our family during this challenging time. Thank you for helping us move forward with hope and stability.
