Hi everyone,

My name is Sylvia, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my 27-year-old daughter, Gabriella, who has been bravely battling severe and complex health conditions for years.

Gabriella lives with CRPS, asthma, COPD, IBS-C, functional dyspepsia, occipital neuralgia, chronic migraines, fibromyalgia, insomnia, and obstructive sleep apnea. These are not just medical terms on paper — they impact every part of her daily life.

Earlier this year, her condition became even more frightening when her lungs nearly failed. She spent countless days in the hospital fighting just to breathe. Watching her go through that was heartbreaking, and it reminded us how urgent and ongoing her medical needs truly are.

She lives with constant pain and exhaustion. Everyday things many people take for granted — sitting comfortably, walking for more than a short time, or even talking for too long — can leave her severely fatigued, in pain, and struggling to breathe. Sitting for extended periods causes pain throughout her spine, arms, and legs, and even sleep brings little relief because of her insomnia and sleep apnea.

As her mother, it is incredibly painful to watch. There are so many moments when I wish I could take her suffering on myself. I often feel helpless knowing I cannot fix this for her, and the unpredictability of her health has also made it difficult for me to work consistently. But what I can do is continue fighting for her in every way I can.

For the past three years, Gabriella has been unable to work, and my husband has been doing everything he can to support our family and help cover her needs. Despite our best efforts, the financial strain has become overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help with:

Critical medications not covered by insurance

Additional physical therapy beyond the 35 visits covered each year

Basic living expenses while Gabriella is unable to work

Home modifications to make daily life safer and more manageable

The sooner she can consistently access the care, medication, and therapy she needs, the better her chances of managing her symptoms and improving her quality of life.

Despite everything she has endured, Gabriella continues to smile and stay as positive as she can. Her strength, resilience, and courage inspire everyone around her, and I am endlessly proud of her.
