Hi everyone,

My name is jennifer, Gabriela’s parent, and I’m creating this GoFundMe during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Our beautiful 5-year-old daughter, Gabriela, was recently diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare condition that has caused her to lose strength in walking, moving, and even speaking.

Because of how serious her condition is, Gabriela has been hospitalized, and we have needed to be by her side every moment. As parents, our only focus right now is supporting her through this frightening and challenging journey. Due to this, both my husband and I have had to stop working so we can stay with her and care for her full-time.

Gabriela will need ongoing medical care and physical therapy as she works to regain her strength. While we remain hopeful and strong for her, the financial strain has been overwhelming. This fundraiser will help us cover essential expenses such as medical costs, therapy, transportation, and basic living needs while we are unable to work.
