On April 4, 2026, Gabriel “Gabe” Lapore, was celebrating his 13th birthday surrounded by family. Gabe is known for being squirrely and silly, and loves to spend his time bowling and being active. Like most kids his age, this included playing outside riding his bike and enjoying the day. In an instant, everything changed when Gabe was involved in a devastating accident with a moving vehicle, leaving him with severe injuries.

Gabe was unconscious and struggling to breathe at the scene. Emergency responded acted quickly, and he was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center, where he is now receiving critical care.
