Our family’s world was turned upside down when my sister, Frances Hall, was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma HER2+ breast cancer. Hearing the words “aggressive chemotherapy” is something no one is ever prepared for, but Frances is facing this battle with the same strength, courage, and determination she brings to everything in her life.
If you know Frances, you know she is one of the strongest, hardest-working people you’ll ever meet. She is the provider for her family and the loving, devoted mom to her incredible 16-year-old daughter. Everything she does is for her child. She has always been the one others lean on — steady, dependable, selfless, and full of heart.
Frances is also blessed to have her longtime partner, Danny, by her side. Danny will be there every step of the way — supporting her through treatments, appointments, and the difficult days ahead. Their love and commitment to each other are a source of strength during this incredibly challenging time.
In the coming weeks, Frances will begin aggressive chemotherapy. While we are hopeful and trusting her medical team, the reality is that treatment may make it impossible for her to continue working during this time. As the primary provider, this adds an overwhelming layer of stress to an already frightening situation.
