When I was growing up, my siblings and I relied on the backpack program to get through some really hard times. Those backpacks meant more than food; they meant dignity, relief, and the chance for us to focus on school and hope for a better tomorrow. I’ll never forget how the kindness of strangers helped my family when we needed it most.

That is why I am supporting Rising Hearts Alliance. They do the everyday, life-changing work of meeting families where they are: providing food, emergency housing, financial relief, and emotional support. They help people find stability through job training, counseling, child care support, and connections to local resources. Rising Hearts walks alongside families as they rebuild, just like someone once walked alongside mine.
