Dear friends, family, and community,

We, as classmates, are reaching out to support our dear friend, Evelyn, who, along with her two young children, recently lost her home in the devastating Eaton Fire. She is a full-time student at Alder Graduate School of Education, completing her teaching residency with Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD), after many years of serving as a substitute teacher. Like so many others, her world was turned upside down in an instant. While her family was safely evacuated, they lost nearly everything—personal belongings, memories, and heirlooms—leaving them with next to nothing.

Evelyn has always worked hard to provide for her children and serve her community. As a single mom, she’s always been there for others, but right now, she’s facing a loss that’s impossible to overcome alone. The emotional and financial challenges ahead are immense, and we want to help her through this difficult time.
