Erica and her daughters have had a tough year. This winter, Erica's husband was detained and deported by ICE agents. Then, in March, her landlord informed her that he was selling the house she and her family had lived in for the past 8 years, and she had to move out. And then, in July, her brother was pulled over while driving, detained, and deported.

Erica worked hard to keep her family together, but unfortunately her husband and brother are still back in Honduras. She is supporting her middle and high school aged daughters on her single income, and unfortunately still owes $7000 in legal fees incurred while she was trying to keep her husband and brother in Minnesota.
