It is very humbling to reach out and ask for a giving hand, as we have always found a way through any tragedies that have come our way. But this one is taking just a little more to overcome. So I’m setting my pride aside and asking for some help.

On March 23rd Emily and Kyle’s world changed. Although we can not share many details, we want to try and be as open as possible. CPS was called on them as parents after taking their baby to the emergency room, which in turn has dramatically changed their lives over the past month. If you know Emily and Kyle, you know they love their babies more than anything and would do absolutely anything and everything for their children. This whole process is breaking their hearts and is hard for them to understand how it can be happening to two amazing parents that fiercely love their babies.

Medical bills from the emergency room are starting to add up. A cost they were not anticipating.

They have had to privately pay for a lawyer to fight and prove that the allegations against them are wrong. This alone took all of their savings. A savings meant to provide for their children and give them a forever home.

Emily is also fighting to keep her nursing license that she has worked hard to earn. She went to school and persevered over 6 years to finish her education in nursing. With her license in jeopardy that also puts her career and financial income at a standstill. She will need to hire a lawyer to help her keep her nursing license to in turn keep working in the career she has worked so hard for. Without her income Kyle and Emily are at risk to also loose their new home purchased just 2 months ago.

The unexpected happened to them, something no parent that protects, provides, and loves their children should ever have to experience. They’re unsure what the future holds as each new day brings something different. They are doing their best to remain positive. With the support and encouragement from family and friends Emily and Kyle are hopeful this will all close soon but they need some financial help to get there.
