There are moments in life that stop everything — moments that change the rhythm of a family overnight. For The King Family, that moment came on Thursday when Emery was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

We are encouraged by a favorable prognosis but know the treatment path ahead will be bit of a long one.

Emery has started treatment and is currently under the care of great physicians and nurses at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She'll spend about a week at the hospital and then will hopefully return home, going back weekly for chemo treatments. Ryan, Angie, Grayson and Nathan are surrounding her with love and of course not leaving her side. Their days have been filled with hospital rooms, treatment plans, and the fierce determination to fight for Emery’s health. Through it all, they’ve shown incredible strength!
