This is a post I never thought I would have to write. Yesterday, Friday, December 12, my daughter Elizah O. was struck by a truck while on her way to the school bus.

Instead of sitting in class, Elizah is currently fighting for her health in the Intensive Care Unit.

Elizah is a strong girl, but her injuries are extensive. She requires multiple surgeries and we have been told to prepare for a very long, difficult recovery process. As a parent, seeing your child in the ICU is an indescribable pain.

We are starting this GoFundMe to ensure Elizah gets every resource she needs to heal. The funds raised will go directly toward:

• Emergency medical costs and surgeries not fully covered by insurance.

• Physical therapy and rehabilitation.

•Covering lost wages and essentials. This support would allow us to step away from my jobs and be at Elizah's bedside 24/7 without the fear of falling behind on expenses.
