Help Elizabeth Recover and Support Her Four Girls

I am raising funds for Elizabeth Diavila, a hardworking single mother of four girls whose life changed on October 16 when another driver hit her head-on on the highway.

Elizabeth suffered four fractured vertebrae and a severely broken ankle that required surgery. She will need inpatient physical rehabilitation at Saint Alphonsus in Boise and is expected to be unable to work cleaning homes for six months. Although she has insurance, it does not cover her rehabilitation stay.

Elizabeth’s mother, who works alongside her cleaning homes, was also in the car and suffered severe injuries. She was moved out of the ICU on October 21 but remains hospitalized. She, too, will be unable to work while recovering, leaving both women facing a difficult recovery and loss of income.

Elizabeth cleans my home as well as many of my clients’ homes, and I know firsthand how hard she works to provide for her daughters. She now faces a long recovery, the cost of rehabilitation, and months without the income her family depends on.

Donations will help cover Elizabeth’s rehabilitation and essential living expenses, including housing, groceries, and utilities, while she is unable to work. My hope is that together we can ease some of that financial worry so Elizabeth can focus on healing and being there for her girls.
