Help Eduardo Ramos Recover After Devastating Hit-and-Run
On the night of February 14th at 10:06 PM, our family’s world was turned upside down. My brother, Eduardo Ramos, was crossing the street with his dog at the intersection of Roswell Street and Melrose Place in Emerald Hills when a speeding driver ran a stop sign, struck them both, and fled the scene.
Tragically, our beloved dog did not survive. Eduardo was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with both legs broken and serious injuries to his lower spine and head. He remains hospitalized and faces a long, painful road to recovery, including surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care.
As if this trauma wasn’t enough, our family was already under immense strain. Eduardo’s father was recently hospitalized for heart problems, which caused him to miss work and lose income. Now, with Eduardo critically injured, he is once again missing work to be at the hospital and care for his son. The financial burden is overwhelming.
This hit-and-run has created a huge financial stress on the family. Funds raised will help cover:
• Medical bills and ongoing treatment
• Household and living expenses
• Transportation costs getting back and forth to the hospital
• Lost wages from missed work
No family should have to worry about how to pay bills while fighting for their loved one’s recovery. We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time so our family can focus on healing, not survival.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Every prayer, share, and contribution means more than we can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
