Support for Dominique & Family during Medical Emerg

Hello everyone,

This is a much requested and update everyone had asked me for. I am to weak to text/call everyone back right now. So all updates will be here♥️

In January 2025, after years of struggling with weight gain caused by anxiety medication, endometriosis, and exhausting every traditional option (dieting, workouts, lifestyle changes), my doctor recommended I try a GLP-1 weight loss medication. This decision was made carefully and under medical supervision.

Over 11 months, I lost nearly 75 pounds and felt better than I had in years. What I never expected was what would happen after stopping the medication.

About a week after stopping in December, I became violently ill. I experienced constant vomiting, severe abdominal pain, and was unable to keep food or fluids down. Over the course of several weeks, I was in and out of emergency rooms and hospitals, repeatedly told it was gastritis or a flare-up—yet my condition kept worsening.

I became dangerously dehydrated, malnourished, and extremely weak. My husband, Brian, knew something wasn’t right and refused to give up. Trusting his instincts, he brought me to a hospital in New York City, where doctors immediately recognized how critically ill I was.

I was admitted right away. Doctors confirmed that I was severely dehydrated and malnourished and told my husband that if he hadn’t acted when he did, the outcome could have been life-threatening. I underwent surgery for an emergency endoscopy and feeding tube placement, followed by additional procedures, including injections to help my stomach function properly. More invasive surgeries are still a possibility if my body doesn’t respond to treatment.

I’ve been hospitalized for over a week and face a long recovery ahead. I won’t be able to return to normal life right away and will require ongoing care, follow-ups, and frequent travel back and forth to NYC. During this time, Brian has been caring for our three children full-time while also trying to manage work, travel expenses, and mounting medical costs—many of which are not fully covered by insurance.

Asking for help is not easy for me, but right now we need support. Any donations will go toward medical bills, medications, travel costs, and basic household expenses while I focus on healing.

If you’re unable to donate, please know that sharing this or keeping us in your prayers means just as much. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, love, and kindness. ❤️‍

Xoxo- Dom♥️
