Our names are Kathy Clark and LeAnn Ross and we are starting this fund-raising for a dear friend of so many, Dez Ross.

Most of us have experienced having to see a doctor out of concern that something very serious could be wrong. Such a relief is felt post an appointment if no evidence of a life-threatening disease is found. Unfortunately, that is not what happened to our dear friend, Dez just recently.

Dez recently received a diagnosis that none of us want to hear nor can ever be prepared to hear. She has been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. With that being said, she will be facing extensive chemotherapy sessions along with other forms of treatment for the unforeseeable future. Any of you who have experienced cancer treatment know how hard it can be physically and emotionally. Our prayer is that she will be able to tolerate the treatments with minor side-effects and eventually be cancer-free.

We all know Dez is energetic and enthusiastic in everything she does. She has always exhibited an exemplary level of dedication to whatever is at hand. Her care of individuals who trust her for daily needs is a model for everyone. During this challenge, one of the most valuable things you can do for her is your friendship. May we encourage you to continue supporting her with your friendship and your love. That will truly bless her and could be what will help her get through those tough days!

We all know she is not prone to be on the receiving end, being much more comfortable giving and being there for others! Now though she is facing a daunting fight that requires immediate and intensive treatment and thus we want to help her by starting a fundraiser to relieve of her of this aspect of the journey she is now on. Dez is facing supporting herself while unable to work. Funds raised will help her pay her medical bills and monthly expenses because she might not be able to work.
